Former Sacramento City Councilmember Steve Hansen Endorses Democrat Thien Ho in CA-06 Race
SACRAMENTO, CA — Former Sacramento City Councilmember Steve Hansen has endorsed Sacramento County District Attorney Thien Ho for California’s 6th Congressional District.
“I’ve spent much of my life working to strengthen our communities and expand opportunity for the people who call this region home. At the end of the day, this election isn’t about a single issue - it’s about who will represent our families, our neighborhoods, and our future in Congress,” Hansen said. “Thien Ho understands that leadership means delivering real results: safer communities, economic opportunity, and institutions people can trust. He brings focus, integrity, and a willingness to fight for the people he represents. I believe he will work every day to ensure our district remains a place where families can thrive, businesses can grow, and our democracy remains strong for the next generation. That’s why I’m proud to endorse Thien Ho for Congress”.
“I’m deeply grateful to Steve Hansen for his endorsement and his longstanding commitment to the people of Sacramento,” Ho said. “Steve has been a champion for safer communities, equality, and opportunity for all, and I’m honored to have his support. Together, we share a vision of leadership that brings people together and delivers real results for the families we serve”.
Ho adds Hansen to a long list of Sacramento area endorsers, including Sacramento Mayor Kevin McCarty, Sacramento County Supervisors Rich Desmond and Patrick Kennedy, Sacramento County Sheriff Jim Cooper, and Sacramento City Councilmember Phil Pluckebaum.
