Endorsement Alert: Longshoreman Union Endorses Thien Ho in CA-06 Race
SACRAMENTO, CA — The International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 18 has endorsed Sacramento District Attorney Thien Ho in his campaign for Congress in California’s 6th District.
"The International Longshore & Warehouse Union Local 18 in West Sacramento is proud to endorse Thien Ho for Congress because he’s shown up for working people and understands the value of strong unions,” the union said. “Thien listens, he'll fight for fair wages and safer jobs, and he’s committed to protecting workers’ rights. He understands that when workers have a seat at the table, everyone benefits. We know he’ll be a champion for longshore/warehouse workers and all working families in Congress.”
“I’m proud to have earned the support of our local longshoremen and warehouse workers,” Ho said. “This campaign is about putting working families first, and I’ll continue to do so with Local 18 by my side.”
Ho now adds union support to his expansive list of endorsers, including California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, Sacramento Mayor Kevin McCarty, Congressman Derek Tran, and a growing list of local endorsers.
