Electrical Workers Endorse Democrat Thien Ho in CA-06
SACRAMENTO, CA — The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 340 has endorsed Sacramento District Attorney Thien Ho for Congress in California’s 6th District.
“IBEW Local 340 is proud to endorse Thien Ho for Congress. Thien understands that building a strong economy starts with investing in skilled trades, protecting good-paying union jobs, and ensuring workers have a real voice on the job,” the union wrote in a statement. “As District Attorney, Thien was the first to prosecute a wage theft case. In Congress, we know he’ll fight for critical infrastructure investments, support apprenticeship programs, and stand up for the people who keep our communities powered and running every day. We are confident that Thien Ho will be a strong champion for our members in Washington.”
“I’m proud to stand with IBEW in my campaign,” Ho said. “I look forward to partnering with Local 340 in the fight for good union jobs, investing in our infrastructure, and ensuring our electrical workers have the support and resources they need. Our communities are built on good union jobs, and I look forward to being a champion for labor in Congress.”
IBEW Local 340 joins UA Local 447, the North Coast States Carpenters Union and the Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 18 in labor support for Ho’s campaign. As he continues his fundraising lead and expands his endorsements list, Ho is well positioned to succeed in the upcoming primary election.
