Democrat Thien Ho Expands Fundraising Lead
SACRAMENTO, CA — Sacramento County District Attorney and Democratic Congressional candidate Thien Ho has expanded his lead in fundraising and cash on hand in California’s new 6th Congressional District.
After the most recent reports on the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday, Thien Ho has raised $644,599.75 with $420,025.26 cash on hand, giving him a cash on hand number more than double that of his closest Democratic opponent. Ho’s advantage continues the clear financial gap between him and the rest of the field, entering the final stretch of the primary with a notable advantage.
“Voters in this district are ready for new leadership,” Ho said. “We’ve led in fundraising since entering the race, and I’m so grateful and humbled by the support we’ve received. I'm confident we'll keep building momentum through election day.”
Ho has also continued momentum on the endorsements this quarter, earning the support of The North Coast States Carpenters Union, the International Longeshore and Warehouse Union local 18, United Association Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 447, The California Tribal Business Alliance, Congressman Adam Gray, Assemblymember Maggy Krell, the Sacramento Democratic Alliance, JFK Democratic Club of Sacramento, American Physicians for Change and more.
With a commanding fundraising lead, more than double the cash on hand of his nearest Democratic opponent, and a growing coalition of labor, tribal, Democratic, and elected endorsers, Thien Ho enters the final stretch of the primary as the clear frontrunner in CA-06. The breadth of support behind Ho's campaign reflects a broad consensus that the district is ready to defeat Kevin Kiley and that Ho is best positioned to deliver that victory.
