California Democratic Council Endorses Thien Ho For Congress in CA-06
SACRAMENTO, CA — The California Democratic Council (CDC) today announced its endorsement of Democrat Thien Ho for California's 6th Congressional District, throwing its support behind the Sacramento County District Attorney in one of the state's most closely watched congressional primaries ahead of the June 2 election.
In a statement from the organization, they wrote, “Thien Ho is exactly the kind of Democrat we need in Congress right now. He has spent his career fighting corruption, protecting working families, and delivering results for our communities. This district needs someone ready to stand up to Donald Trump, and Thien Ho is that fighter.”
As Sacramento County District Attorney, Ho has built a record of prosecuting corruption, defending immigrant communities from exploitation, and demanding accountability from those in power.
"I'm honored to have the California Democratic Council's support,” Ho said. “This district deserves a representative who will stand up and fight. Every day Trump is in office, families in this district are paying the price. CDC knows I'm going to Washington to fight for our communities and win."
With early voting underway, Ho continues to be a leading contender for Democrats, earning endorsements now from the California Democratic Council, the Sacramento Democratic Alliance, the Sacramento JFK Democratic Club, and a growing list of elected officials and community leaders across the district.
