American Physicians for Change Endorses Thien Ho in CA-06
SACRAMENTO, CA — American Physicians for Change has endorsed Sacramento District Attorney Thien Ho for Congress in California’s 6th District.
“As a statewide medical society, we are especially encouraged by your comprehensive approach to healthcare. Your advocacy for lowering healthcare costs, expanding access to care and supporting the continuation of the Affordable Care Act subsidies demonstrates a clear understanding that coverage is essential to prevention, early intervention, and healthier communities,” The organization said. “Taken together, your platform reflects enduring values long shared by the medical profession - fairness, responsibility, compassion, and respect for the rule of law - applied with a forward looking vision for the future. These principles give us great confidence in your ability to serve the people of California’s 6th Congressional District with distinction. We are proud to stand with you.”
“I’m proud to have the support of American Physicians for Change,” Ho said, “I’m running for Congress to make healthcare more affordable and accessible for all, and I’m grateful to have the support of partners who share that commitment.”
Ho also earned the support of the International Longshore & Warehouse Union Local 18 this week, continuing strong endorsement momentum this month, having earned the support of California State Treasurer Fiona Ma and Elk Grove City Councilmember Sergio Robles.
